Obituary of Donald Isner

Life Legacy Donald Eugene Isner, age 75, a resident of Sand Run Rd. Philippi passed away Friday September 19, 2014 in the Mon General Hospital in Morgantown after a lengthy illness. He was born August 14, 1939 in Philippi, a son of the late Woodrow and Beatrice “Mamaw Bea” (Bolyard) Isner. Eugene is survived by Wife Debby S. (Erick) Isner Former wife Virginia Rose (Proudfoot) Isner Sister Betty Mayfield and husband Darrell Brother Charles Isner and wife Shelia Children Donald C. Isner and wife Diane Karen Rogers and husband Ethan Michael Herbert and wife Jessica Bryan Herbert and wife Kristin Grandchildren Liz Isner and fiancé Dan Jones, Brittany Tam and husband Harmon, Rick, Randy, Michael, Ken and Alaina Redline, Mellista Kiersten, and Katelynn Rogers, Ashley and Matthew Herbert, Alexander, Anthony, and Andrew Herbert Great Grandchildren; Haylie and Penny Jones, Amelia Tam Nieces and nephews; Michael Isner and wife Dolly, Randy Isner and wife Kim, Tracey Jones, Matthew and Chasidy Rader, Alex and Katelynne Rader, Elizabeth and Robby Sellers, Danny and Heather Mayfield, J.D. Hailey Mayfield, Crystal Isner. Eugene retired from LTV Steel as a General foreman, he was an avid farmer, and he enjoyed hunting, and was a NASCAR fan, and loved spending time with his beloved dog Towzer. He attended Southern Baptist Church. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Sunday September 21, from 3-8 pm and on Monday September 22, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour with Pastor John Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
