Carolyn Sue Charlton, age 67, a resident former resident of Bear Mountain, WV went home to be with the lord on Sunday December 21, 2014 at her home on Heavenly Meadows Lane, Bridgeport, WV. She was born on October 10, 1947 in Philippi, the daughter of the late Herbert N. and Sylvia M. (Galford) Propst. She was united in marriage to Randall L. Charlton on January 29, 1972 who survives at home. Also surviving is One son; Timothy Charlton and wife Elizabeth of Oxfordshire, England One daughter; Amanda Charlton-Fryer and husband Nick of Flemington Two granddaughters; Maddie and Gracie Fryer of Flemington She was preceded in death by one son; William Matthew Charlton She was a graduate from Philip Barbour High School class of 1965 and Center College. She was employed by Craig Motors Company before dedicating her time to caring for her family. She became a grandma in November 2008 and greatly enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday December 24, from 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Gina Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
