Robert “Chris” Bradley, age 76 a resident of Mansfield Place and a former resident of Bush Ave. passed away Saturday September 5, 2015. He was born January 2, 1939 in Wilmington, Delaware, a son of the late Robert and Mildred Bradley. Chris was united in marriage on April 11, 1992 to Barbara Ann (Terango) Bradley who preceded him in death on February 22, 2015. Surviving is, One step-daughter, Stephanie R. “Shelley” Short and husband Tom of Philippi One step-son, Greg Jones of Philippi Two grandchildren, Gwen Carpenter and husband Marty of Fairmont Brian Short and wife Jaime of Philippi Four great grandchildren, Zachary and Braiden Short of Philippi, Reese and Emma Carpenter of Fairmont. Chris retired as CPA and also was the owner and operator of State Tire in Delaware. He served in the US Army, he was an avid golfer, and he enjoyed traveling and reading. Chris was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Chris’s request for cremation will be honored and a private graveside services will be held at a later date.
