Rosaliee Ann Brooks age 82 a resident of Croston School Rd. Moatsville passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at her residence. She was born August 3, 1933 in Randolph Co. a daughter of the late William Rose and Jenny Florence (Arbogast) Fansler. She was united in marriage June 18, 1948 to Charles Thomas Brooks, Sr. who preceded her in death in March of 2006. Surviving are eight children- Linda Brooks of Moatsville Patricia Sue Ecke and husband John of Baltimore, MD Sharon Gladys Brooks of Moatsville Charles Thomas Brooks, Jr. of Elkins Virginia Lee “Jenny” Belt of Elkins Cindy Marie Brooks of Baltimore Rosaliee Ann Lange and husband Patrick of Baltimore Johnathan Todd Brooks of Mill Creek Several Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren Ms. Brooks was preceded in death by one daughter Dianna Rae Brooks; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been preceded in death by four sisters, Opal Rosier, Dessie Watson, Rachael Woods and Dolly Waybright; and three brothers, Charlie Fansler, Harvey Fansler and William Fansler. She was a home health provider for the Barbour Co. Senior Center. She was a pilot, loved traveling and enjoyed her dog, Nae Nae The family would like to give a special thanks to Rosaliee’s caregivers- Mary Johnson, Karen Collins, Donna Mayle, Alisha Bender,Timothy Ray Senior Center of Barbour Co. and Mountain Hospice. Rosaliee’s request for cremation will be honored.
