Samantha was a shining light in the Class of 2015 at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Those of us who knew her at WVSOM, especially her classmates, are deeply saddened by her untimely death. My heart goes out to her family and everyone else (so many people) who loved her.

It is so hard to comprehend why Samantha's life ended when she was just beginning so many wonderful parts of her earthly journey. It does not seem fair.
