David Elmo Miller, age 65, a resident of Parsons, WV passed away Tuesday July 19, 2011 in Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born March 2, 1946 in Morgantown, WV a son of the late Elmo Wayne and Maxine M. (Menefee) Miller. He was united in marriage on October 30, 1999 to Nancy K. (Annon) Miller who survives. Also surviving is, One daughter: Shannon Nicole Miller and fiancé Piero Scandone of Morgantown One step-daughter: Patricia Brook Frymier of Elkins One son: Joshua David Miller and fiancé Samantha Cox of Philippi One brother: Michael Wayne Miller and wife Regina of Clarksburg One grandson: Lucas Joshua Miller of Philippi Several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins David was preceded in death by one sister: Susan Elizabeth Todaro. He was the owner and operator of Landscaping Specialist. David served in the US Navy from 1966-69. He enjoyed woodworking and was a Methodist by faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Friday July 22, from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will conducted at 7 pm on Friday with Rev. Kenny Kendall officiating. Mr. Miller's request for cremation will be honored and will follow the services.
