My brother just forwarded the obit for Mr. Corder to me. He was my band director at Sutton High School for a year or two. I graduated in 1957. He was a wonderful teacher and we all loved and respected him. I know you will miss him but I'm sure your memories are many. You are in my prayers during this time.

Mr. Corder was my band director at Belington High School. I think he had more confidence in my abilities than I did. He was a great teacher. I have remembered him fondly over the years. May God comfort all of you.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Corder was a very kind man with a great love for music. In Jr. High I use to walk three miles in the summer time just so I would not miss out on his bank practice. I pray God's strength to all the family.

Jason, I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I lost my Dad in November of last year, he was 87 also and a WWII vet. I'm quite sure that you loved him and will miss him just as I miss my Dad. My heart goes out to you and your family - and I will pray that God will assuage your grief and help you to remember the wonderful times you shared with your Dad. Kevin

To the Corder Family...
I got to know Blaine over 20 years ago as the Key Club adviser and band director at PB. He always had a story to tell me about his band directing days. I always enjoyed our talks and truly missed him when I left PB in the late 1990s. He will be missed by all who knew him. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Blaine was a tribute to the teaching profession and a wonderful man. I remember him from middle school and seeing him frequently at Philippi Baptist Church. He was always interested in how I was doing when I attended Kent State University, having known music faculty there. Peace to the family.

I just will remember your Dad as one of my many beloved teachers who helped me when I was in Jr High School. . He and Dad were co workers and were neighbors on Elk Street years ago before he and your Mom had moved away and then settled in Mansfield Meadow Hgts
I was out of town when your Brother Todd had passed way then... . Todd and I had some good talks when I used to go down as one of his patients.
Again , My deepest Sympathies are with you all
