Obituary of Howard Lee Mayle

Howard Lee Mayle, 75, of Canton, passed away Thursday, November 30th, at Aultman Hospital following a very brief illness. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on August 2, 1942, a son of the late Opal and Gus Mayle, also preceded in death by a sister Rosalie Mayle, Gus Mayle Jr., Eddie Brent Mayle, Rocky Mayle. Employed as a construction worker for Laborers Local 1015 retiring in 1984. A member of the New Covenant Church of Canton. Howard loved to travel and spend time with his grandchildren. Survived by his wife, Deloris (Kennedy) Mayle to whom he married April 12th, 1966, 2 sons Howard "Robbie" D. (Crystal) Mayle, Garold (Kim) Mayle, 2 sisters Janice Mayle, Vida Dalton, all of Canton, 4 brothers Allen Dale Culberson, of Lisbon, Jerry Mayle, of Canton, Rev. Ron Mayle, of North Canton, Malvin Mayle, of Canton, 5 grandchildren,  8 great-grandchildren; also survived by 1 aunt Flo Ann Mayle, of Louisville, and 1 uncle James "Bump" Mayle, of Grafton, WV. Funeral Services will be held 11am Monday, December 4th, in the Waltner-Simchak Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Mayle officiating, friends may call 5-8pm Sunday, December 3rd, also in the Funeral Home. Additional calling hours will be held 11am-8pm on Tuesday, December 5th, at the Wright Funeral Home in Philippi, West Virginia with burial in the Mayle Cemetery on Wednesday, December 6th, at 11am.
