Obituary of Sheila Jane Talkington

Sheila Jane Talkington, age 68, a resident of Philippi, passed away unexpectedly Sunday June 16, 2019 at her residence.  Shelia was born September 21, 1950 in Barbour County, a daughter of the late Thomas Cleveland and Geraldine (Collins) Minard.  Shelia was united in marriage on August 2, 1983 to Jerry Neal Talkington who preceded her in death on June 24, 2015.  Surviving is two brothers,

Shelia was preceded in death by sisters, Sharon Sue Eddy, Mona Jo Minard, brother, Thomas Minard Jr.

Shelia was a homemaker.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday June 22, from 5-8 pm and on Sunday June 23, from 8 am- 2 pm the service hour.  Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery.
