Joseph Uriah Dalton, age 88, a resident of Canton, OH passed away Monday March 30, 2020 at his residence. Joseph was born June 19, 1931 in Grafton, WV a son of the late Bryden and Bessie (Kennedy) Dalton. Joseph was united in marriage on January 26, 1984 to Barbara (Newman) Dalton who survives. Also surviving Five children, Jackie Dalton of Canton, OH Ronald Newman of Canton, OH Edith Newman of Canton, OH Debbie Taylor and Robert of Virginia Crystal Newman and Martin of Canton, OH Three sisters, Tonia Johnson of Philippi Yvonne Mayle of Philippi Mary Mageline Dalton of Philippi Three brothers, Julius Dalton of Canton, OH Roger Dalton of Canton, OH Jerry Dalton of Philippi Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren Joseph was preceded in death by two infant sons, daughter Paulette Dalton, and brothers, Laco Dalton, Delmas Dalton, and Frederick Dalton. Joseph was an avid farmer, and her enjoyed hunting and fishing. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, services for Mr. Dalton will be private and Interment will be held at the Knottsville Cemetery.
