Obituary of Florence Runner Sullivan

Florence Sullivan, age 81, a resident of Flemington, passed away Monday November 2, 2020 at the residence of her daughter. Florence was born November 8, 1938 in Fellowsville, a daughter of the late Ross Grimm and Mae (Bolyard) Grim. Florence was united in marriage in 1982 to Burton Sullivan who survives at Flemington. Also surviving- Six children, Dolly Corley and husband Ronnie of Brownton William “Junior” Runner of Florida Robert “Bobby” Runner and wife Lisa of Elkins Betty Jo Morris of Rosemont Thomas Runner of Huttonsville Brother, Charles Grimm and wife Faye of Philippi Seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren Florence was preceded in death by former husband William Runner; son, Kenneth Runner; brother, Thomas Grimm, and sister, Mary Ripley Florence was a homemaker and caregiver; she enjoyed caring for people, and she was an avid animal lover, especially her cats. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Thursday November 5, from 2-8 pm, Friday November 6, from 1-8 pm, and Saturday 8am- 1pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Sister Ruth Higginbotham officiating. Interment will follow in the Flemington I.O.O.F Cemetery.
