Obituary of Denver Ray Harris

Denver Ray Harris, born November 22, 1942 passed away on December 23, 2020 with his children by his side. He was proceeded in death by his wife Linda Hammond Harris, father, Gene Haris, mother Hazel Mae Harris. He is survived by his daughter Linda Paulette Rohrman and husband Bill, of Baltimore, MD, son Denver Paul Harris and wife Tammy Harries of Volga, WV, son Dwayne Harris and wife Chris Harris of Whiteford, MD, daughter Brittany Harris, 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren which was his joy in life. He is also survived by his sisters Brenda Wamsley, Mary Jo Mackey, Ellen Kay Davis, and brothers Willard Harris, Gary Harris, and James Harris. He is also survived by his friend Julie Anderson, many nieces and nephews and an aunt. On May 2, 1964, Ray married Linda Hammond who was the love of his life. He grew up in Mill Creek, WV where he loved to deer hunt with his brothers and sons. He was Penecostal by faith. Wright funeral home of Philippi will be handling the cremation. There will be no services at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. The family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers. Ray will be missed by all that knew him.
