Robert McCauley, age 51, a resident of Clarksburg passed away unexpectedly Monday May 31, 2021 at his residence following a brief illness. Robert was born September 29, 1969 in Tampa, Fl a son of the late Edward William McCauley and Shirley Ann (Gouer) McCauley of South Boston, VA. Also surviving is wife Amanda McCauley of Clarksburg Four children, Chelsey Hosey of Clarksburg Chanda Hosey of Clarksburg Krystal Blanchard of Clarksburg Jeremiah McCauley of Clarksburg Brother, Scott McCauley of Springfield, OH Three grandchildren, Ethan and Grayson Hosey, Amaya Marsh Robert was also preceded in death by grandparents Grace McCauley and Elloween Gouer Robert worked as a welder for Neel Fence Company, he enjoyed playing softball. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday June 5, from 6-8 pm and on Sunday June 6, from 8 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
