John Wesley McGee, age 61, a resident of Grafton, WV, passed away Tuesday June 15, 2021 in Grafton City Hospital. John was born August 7, 1959 in Philippi a son of the late Charles W. McGee and Flora Ann (Moore) McGee who survives. Also surviving- Siblings, Charlotte Wagner and husband Richard of Gaston, SC Connie Bennett and husband Donald of Philippi Rocky McGee and wife Allyson of Hampton, VA Julie Montgomery and husband Daniel of Brownton Several nieces and nephews John was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Hugh and Kate Moore; paternal grandparents Gordan and Tressie McGee; sister, Linda Cleavenger; nephews, Max McGee and Brian Cleavenger. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday June 19, from 2-4 pm. Funeral service will be conducted at 4 pm with Pastor Randall Montgomery officiating. Cremation will follow the services.
