Obituary of Keaton Tyler Massie

Keaton Tyler Massie, age 23, a resident of Philippi passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 1, 2021. Keaton was born on May 3, 1998 a son of Jeffrey Scott Massie of Ohio and Kimberly Sue Moats and companion, Gary T. Skidmore of Philippi. He leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Olive Grace and Dahlia Reese whom he loved dearly. Grandparents, Kenneth R. and Linda L. Moats Brother, Christopher S. Massie (Rebekah Brookshire) of TN Several aunts, uncles and cousins Keaton graduated from the Mountaineer Challenge Academy in 2014, and worked for Mt. State Foam Insulation. He enjoyed hunting, riding ATVs, his motorcycle and being outdoors. He also loved being with his family and friends, who all will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the trust for Olive and Dahlia at BC BANK, P.O. Box 370 Philippi, WV 26416 Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday, October 4th from 2-8 pm and on Tuesday, October 5th from 8-11am the service hour with Pastor Sam Haught officiating. In honor of Keaton’s request, cremation will follow.
