Rebecca Collins, age 55, a resident of Philippi, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her children following a brief illness. Becky was born May 16, 1966 in Philippi, WV. A daughter of the late Roger Newman and Lula (Croston) Mayle. She was united in marriage to Issac Collins on December 8, 1980 who preceded her in death in 2016. Surviving are three children, one son JD Collins and companion Jessica Blake, two daughters Ashley and husband Josh Foltz, Jamie and husband John Walter all of Philippi. Grandchildren Joshua Foltz, Brianna Beavers, Connor Foltz, Brayson Beavers, Emberlyn Foltz, Asher Walter, and Ariella Walter. Also surviving are sister Melissa Newman of Culpeper, VA and brother Christopher Mayle of Philippi, WV. As well as several nieces and nephews. Becky was a very loving mother and Nana. She worked at Broaddus Hospital for many years in Mansfield Place and the ER Department making a career out of taking care of others. She spent her final years of life enjoying time with her family and friends. She will truly be missed. Becky's request for cremation will be honored. Family and friends will gather together for a celebration of life on January 29, 2022 at the Taj Moe Hal (N Main St. Philippi) from 2-6 PM. Food and refreshments will be provided.
