Obituary of Gary Lee Frayer

Gary Lee Frayer, age 65, a resident of Moatsville, passed away Saturday April 9, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. Gary was born October 4, 1956 in Bad Axe. Michigan, a son of the late James Blair and Loraine (Mollison) Frayer. Gary was united in marriage on July 3, 1981 to Karen J. (Price) Frayer who survives at home. Also surviving are children, Sara Ann Caswell and husband Christopher of Elkview, WV, Derin Lee Frayer and wife Melissa of Moatsville, grandchildren, Lucy, Lallie, and Leina Frayer, sisters, Rhonda Gould and husband Ted of Volga, Cheryl Wolfe and husband Brent of Flemington. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Andrew Frayer. Gary loved to hunt and being outdoors, he was an avid NASCAR fan watching all the races and even the qualifying events. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday April 12, from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday April 13, from 8 am- 1 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 pm with Pastor Jimmy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family ask the memorial contributions be made to Wright Funeral Home to help assist with the cost of the funeral.
