Betty Lou (Burner) Wilmoth age 86 a resident of Barberton, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Akron City Hospital. She was born November 3, 1928 in Philippi, a daughter of the late Herman Clyde and Mossie Pauline (Carder) Burner. She was united in marriage September 27, 1948 to Staley D. “John” Wilmoth who preceded her in death August 27, 2014. Surviving are, Two sons, Steven L. Wilmoth Cecil L. Wilmoth, both of Barberton, OH One brother, Larry Burner and wife Delma of Norton, OH One Sister, Billie Jane Boehm of Philippi One grandson, Steven L.D. Wilmoth One great-grandchild, Anakin L.D. Wilmoth Mrs Wilmoth was preceded in death by two sisters; Joretta Stiltner, and Jane Cline, six brothers; Clyde Jr., James, Gene, Richard, Jerry Burner and Nelson Burner. Mrs. Wilmoth was a homemaker. Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday April 11, from 11 am -8 pm and on Sunday April 12, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
