Linda Gail Westbrook, age 35, a resident of Volga passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Wednesday January 27, 2010. She was born October 27, 1974 in Louisiana a daughter of the late Hubert Westbrook and Shirley (Gibson) Westbrook who survives at Weston. Also surviving is her companion of 12 years Rodney "Albert" Gail Thorne of Volga Four sons; Tyler, and Tristan Riffle, Trevor, and Trae Thorne, all at home Two brothers; Charles Gibson of Weston Hubert Westbrook of Weston Ms. Westbrook was preceded in death by one daughter Destiny Thorne, and one sister; Leann Hope Ms. Westbrook was a health care worker. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday January 30, from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. the service hour with Rev. Randy Simms officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made to the Wright Funeral Home to help with the offset of the funeral cost.
