Agnes Virginia Saffle age 65 a resident of Carrollton Rd. Buckhannon passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1950 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late James and Elsie (Overfield) Daugherty. She was united in marriage July 1, 1989 to Gary Saffle who survives. Also surviving- one daughter, Mandy Price and husband Derek Michaletz of Buckhannon two step-sons, Jim Saffle and wife Linda of Sandwich, MA Edward Saffle of Cincinnati, OH three sisters, Shirley Shockey and husband Lloyd of Ohio Mae Foreman and husband Sonny of PA Tressie Tuttle of Buckhannon six brothers, Don Daugherty of Ohio Jim Daugherty Ernie Daugherty and wife Barb Bill Daugherty and wife Wilma John Daugherty Henry Daugherty and wife Sheila all of Philippi five grandchildren Mrs. Saffle was a homemaker, member of the VFW Auxiliary, Moose Club and River Church of Christ in Buckhannon Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 5-8 pm and on Sunday, December 13 from 8am-2pm the service hour with Speaker Ernie Daugherty and Speaker Lloyd Shockey officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery.
