Ralph E. Gorbey, age 39 a resident of Rt. 3 Arden Community Philippi passed away Wednesday February 24, 2010, at the home of his sister. He was born October 10, 1970 in Harrison, Co. a son of Ralph E. Gorbey of Fairmont, and Carmella (Cozad) Gorbey of Rt. 3 Arden Community Philippi. Also surviving is; One daughter; Natahsa Rhodes Three sisters; Dorothy Elza Rt. 3 Arden Community Philippi Rose Carroll of Wallace, WV Patricia Talkington of Fairmont Mr. Gorbey enjoyed doing odd jobs, shooting pool, and working on cars. He was a Baptist by faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday February 27 from 6-8 p.m. Mr. Gorbey's request for cremation will be honored and will follow the visitation on Saturday.
