Wanda Lott age 71 a resident of Hanging Rock Rd. Philippi passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 in United Hospital Center. She was born June 8, 1945 in Philippi, a daughter of the late John and Mildred (Miner) Newman. She was united in marriage to Edward Virgil Lott who preceded her in death in 1981. Surviving is- one daughter, Barbara Lott and fiancé Keith Hardy of Philippi one son, Robert Lee Lott and wife Eleanor of Philippi five sisters, Barbara Dalton, Philippi Ernestine Newman of Canton, OH Eloise Dalton of Canton, OH Josephine Summerfield, Philippi Leona Mayle of Canton, OH three grandchildren Bryson Hardy, Cassie (Lott) Everson, and Robert Edward Bulatko, and five great-grandchildren Ms. Lott was preceded in death by four siblings, Steven Newman, Rosabell Croston, Emma Gene Mayle, and Neles Newman She was a homemaker and member of Peoples Chapel Church Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday, August 31, from 5-8 pm and on Thursday, September 1, from 8 am-1 pm the service hour with Pastor Ruston Seaman officiating. Interment will follow in the Lott Family Cemetery.
