Michael Lee Bennett, age 65, a resident of Arnold’s Rd. Philippi, passed away Sunday October 9, 2016 in United Hospital Center. He was born April 29, 1951 in Philippi, a son of the late Richard and Kathleen (Simpson) Bennett. He was united in marriage on January 19, 1980 to Diana (Beeson) Bennett who survives at home. Also surviving Two daughters; Shannon Reed and husband Jason Jessica McVicker and husband Greg all of Philippi One brother; Sonny Bennett of Shiloh Community Three grandchildren; Gabriel Michael Reed, Carmela Michelle Reed, LeLand Marshal Reed Step-Grandchild; Dyllin McVicker Grand dog; Stymie Several nieces and newphews Michael was preceded in death by one brother; Butch Bennett. Michael enjoyed fishing, hunting, and target practicing. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday October 12, from 5-8 pm and on Thursday October 13, from 8 am- 1 pm the service hour.
