Olin J. “Jake” Campbell, age 80, a resident of Twin Lakes Campground in Belington where he resided with John and Betty Poling. He passed away Friday October 7, 2016 in Broaddus Hospital. He was born November 17, 1935, in Taylor Co. a son of the late Blanco and Martha (Williams) Campbell. He was united in marriage May 7, 1959 to Verna Juanita “Edie” Campbell who preceded him in death on January 9, 2009. Surviving is; Three daughters; Kathy Arnold and husband Ronald of Philippi Suzi Wiant and husband Junior of Belington Peggy Mayle and husband James Cates of Weston Daughter-in-law; Debbie Campbell of Philippi Two sons; Zeno Campbell of Philippi Rick Campbell of Buckhannon One brother; Martin Campbell and wife Ruth Ann of Buckhannon 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren Jake was preceded in death by one son; Ronald Campbell, two brothers; Odbert Lee Campbell, and Ralph Campbell, one sister; Laura Vasque. Jake retired as a coal miner for Badger Coal Company, he enjoyed camping and fishing. He attended the Knight’s Chapel Church. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday October 11, from 2-8 pm and on Wednesday October 12, from 8 am – 2 pm the service hour with Speaker Lewis Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt.
