Obituary of Donald Mouser
Life Legacy
Donald Gay Mouser, age 72, a resident of Belington and a former resident of Maple Ave. Philippi passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday October 25, 2016 in Davis Medical Center in Elkins. He was born November 8, 1943 in Brushy Fork Community a son of the late Leonard Mouser Sr. and Agnes (Williams) Mouser.
He was a loving father to Brenda Harris and spouse Charles Harris Jr. of Grafton
Three grandchildren, Eloria Summers and spouse Paul Summers Jr., Michele Harris, and Robert Harris and friend Alexis Knotts.
He also had two great grandchildren who he enjoyed playing and visiting with, Ashton Brooke Booth and Parker Tate Harris
In addition to his children he has the following siblings, Blanche Knight and late husband William, Carl Mouser and wife Patty, Daniel Mouser and wife Barbara, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard Mouser Jr. and an uncle and aunt Robert and Erma Jean Williams.
He attended Philip Barbour High School, and played on the football team. Donald was a coal miner, butcher and farmer.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday October 26, from 6-8 pm and on Thursday October 27, from 8-11 am the service hour. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
