Adonis Dione (Poling) Edens, age 69, a resident of Jenny St. Philippi passed away Saturday November 19, 2016 at her residence. She was born March 1, 1947 in Grafton, a daughter of the late Arthur S. and Gloria E. (Gerkins) Poling. Dione was united in marriage on Decmeber 12, 1964 to John O. Edens who survives at home. Also surviving Three brothers; Arthur S. Poling Sr. of OH Vernon Leo Poling and wife Rona A. Edward L. Poling and wife Connie both of Grafton Aunt; Elaine Mauller of Grafton Several nieces and nephews Dione was preceded in death by two sons, John E. and Allan A. Edens, two brothers, Barry A. and Gerry Dean Poling. She was a homemaker. Dione enjoyed knitting, painting, crocheting and gardening. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday November 22, from 4-8 pm and on Wednesday November 23, from 8 am – 1 pm the service hour with Branch President of the Philippi Church of Jesus Christ Latter day Saints and Spiritual Leader John Drennen conducting services.
