Carl “Zeb” Mayoros, age 63, a resident of Arden Community passed away Sunday January 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born June 24, 1953 a son of the late Julius and Patsy (Moats) Mayoros. Surviving is: one sister, Susan Sweeney of Grafton nephew, Darric Sweeney and wife Kristen of Clarksburg close personal friend, James Brannen and his son Christopher Wagner of Arden Community several cousins Zeb worked as a custodian at the Philippi Jr. High School and later the Philippi Middle School. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Zeb was a master woodworker, and avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed listening to music and playing his banjo. Zeb never met a stranger, he would always help anyone in need and would always have his house open for anyone in need. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Tuesday January 10, from 6-8 pm and on Wednesday January 11, from 8 – 11 am the service hour with Rev. David Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.
