Goldie Howser Sullivan age 69 a resident of Rt. 1 Volga, Carrolton Community passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2010. She was born June 1, 1940 in Perryopolis, PA a daughter of the late Floyd R. and Martha (Johnson) Howser. She was united in marriage May 17, 1958 to Donald Sullivan who preceded her in death September 23, 1992. She was the last surviving member of her family, she leaves behind: Two Daughters, Faye Markley of Volga Deborah and husband Kenneth Smith of Volga Three Sons, Danny and wife Tonda Sullivan of Teter Lake Jeffrey and wife Maranda Sullivan of Volga Earl Sullivan and fiancée Dana Hamby of Volga 13 grandchildren, Jessica Markley and husband J.D. Collins, Donny and Samantha Sullivan, Dustin Sullivan and girlfriend Danelle Golden, Isaac Golden, Ross Sullivan, Tony Smith, Ashley Smith, Aaron Sullivan and girlfriend Kayla Saffle, Joshua Sullivan and girlfriend Krissy Newman, Eddie Sullivan, Coralee Sullivan, Issac Cleavenger, Brian and Kat Hamby. 4 great-grandchildren, Aiden Smith, Logan Sullivan, Kloe Sullivan and Gavin Bolyard. Goldie was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Dorsey Markley; one grandson, Jacob Sullivan, five sisters, and five brothers. She was a homemaker and Methodist by faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 North Walnut St. Philippi on Friday, April 9 from 3-8 p.m. and on Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. the service hour with Pastor Larry Poling officiating.
