Andrew Howard Dalton, age 77, a resident of Philippi passed away Tuesday August 28, 2017 in Mon General Hospital. He was born July 14, 1940, in Brownton a son of the late James and Myrtle (Kennedy) Dalton. Surviving are five children, Suzanna (Dalton) Mayle of Philippi Alex Dalton of Philippi Dennis Dalton of Miami, FL Aundra Lopez Mayle of Austin, TX Connie Elaine Mayle of Philippi Four sisters, Mary Ellen Garland of Tucson, AZ Martha Jean Wells of Raleigh, NC Brenda Morgan of Tucson, AZ Myrtle Dalton of Columbus, OH One brother, Holly Dalton and wife Freda of Carrollton, OH Seven grandchildren, Tealor Dalton, Samantha Dalton, Zachary Dalton, Joseph Mayle, Kayle and Bella Reynalds and KJ Newman Two great grandchildren, Reaghan and Canzetta Dalton Andrew was preceded in death by brothers James Dalton and Buster Dalton, and sister Hilda Channey He served in the US Army, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and attending church. Friends will be received at the People's Chapel Church on Friday September 1, from 1-9 pm and again on Saturday September 2, from 8am- 1 pm the service hour with Pastor Ruston Seaman and Speaker Bill Berdine officiating. Interment will follow in the Welch Cemetery with military honors being accorded.
