Michael Duane Hollen, age 56 a resident of Rt. 1 Volga passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 6, 2010 at his residence. He was born May 24, 1954 on the Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, VA, a son of Blonda "Juny" Hollen Jr. and Elizabeth G. (Taylor) Hollen who survive at Volga. Also surviving are; Two sons: Joshua M. Hollen and wife Samantha Brian D. Hollen and wife Erin both of Belington Two sisters: Beth R. Conklin and husband Tim of Elkins Janette M. Snider and husband Doug of Philippi One brother: Patrick R. Hollen of Philippi Four grandchildren: Tyler M., Jaelynn S., Landen D., Briana E. Hollen Several nieces and nephews Mike loved his job and worked as a vendor and sold Snyder of Berlin Chips for Middletown Foods of Fairmont. He was a graduate of Philip Barbour High School class of 1972. Mike was a former Little League Baseball Coach. He was a man who loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Wednesday June 9, from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday June 10, from 8 a.m. -1 p.m. the service hour with Rev. Alicia Rapking officiating. Mike's request for cremation will be honored and will follow the services on Thursday.
