Eugene Mayle, 83, of Canton passed away Friday, December 31st, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center after a brief illness. Born in Philippi, West Virginia on January 9, 1927, the son of the late Berkie and Myrtle (Norris) Mayle, also proceeded in death by two sisters: Lula Bell Svorstol, Aleda Mayle, two brothers: Darl Mayle and Delmous Mayle. Eugene worked many jobs including Taylor Construction for 19 years, and retired from Republic Steel after 12 years of service, both of Canton. Survived by wife of 56 years, Della A. Mayle, three sisters, Augustine Culberson of Morgantown, WV; Janet Kennedy of Philippi, WV; Vivian "Bib" (Albert) Cook of Clarksburg, WV; a brother, Gorman (Joan) Mayle of Canton, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends.
