Obituary of Freddie Triplett
Freddie Grace Triplett age 82 a former resident of Philippi passed away Sunday, July 19, 2009 in Buckhannon at the home of her daughter in Buckhannon, WV where she had resided for the last 10 months . She was born March 13, 1927 in Hendricks, WV the oldest daughter of the late Odis and Bessie (Long) Summerfield of Nestorville, WV. She was twice married first to Thomas Kimbrew and second to Ivan Triplett both who preceded her in death.

26 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren and two Great-Great Grandchildren
Mrs. Triplett was preceded in death by one daughter, Bessie Scott; three sons, Charles, Ricky, and Michael Kimbrew; one sister, Alberta Frederick; and four brothers, Jack, Odis, Golden, and Charles Summerfield.
Mrs. Triplett was a Methodist by Faith. During her life she worked as a homemaker, Health-Aide and Baker in several restaurants in the Philippi area. She was best known for her homemade bread, pies, and pastries.
She had a faithful and loyal miniature poodle named, Pooh.

Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi, WV on Tuesday July 21, from 3-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday July 22, from 8:00a.m.-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday July 23 from 8-11:00 a.m. the service hour with Rev Jim Marshall and Speaker Donna Marshall officiating.
