When I was a youngster in Philippi, Mr. Roy was always kind and helpful when I went to the Department Store for some shoes or a suit for the prom. As an adult I then knew and respected him as a fine citizen.
We are sorry to read about the death of Henry Thomas Roy. I ( Bob Sayers) was at AB College from 1947 to 1950. I graduated in 32 months. Graduated between presidents so do not have my diploma signed yet. Elliott was leaving and Shearer was replacing him. We are sending our condolances.
We send our thoughts and prayers to Jean and her family at this time. May you draw close to the Lord for comfort. We will be praying for you in the days ahead.
Our prayers are with each of the family members at this time. Tommy was truely an inspiration to all. We have never heard a mean word or negative comment come from him. He certainly demonstrated a christian life to all of us.
