Bret James Spruill age 43 a resident of Rt. 4 Philippi passed away Friday May 1, 2009 in the United Hospital Center. He was born October 19, 1965 in Camden, NJ a son of Thomas E. Sr. and Patricia J. (Rush) Spruill who survives. Also surviving is One son; Bryan James Spruill of Marlton, NJ One sister; Patricia L. and husband Brad Skinner of Bridgeport Two brothers; Thomas E. Jr. and wife Juliet A. Spruill of Philippi Mark W. and wife Michelle Spruill of Morgantown Bret worked as a Carpenter for the Mid-Atlantic Regional Council of Carpenters. He enjoyed playing his guitar, he was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast. He will be cremated. In Lieu of flowers, an educational fund has been established for his son, Bryan Spruill at C.A.P.E. Credit Union, 200 Cava Dr. Room 126 Clarksburg, WV 26301. Friends will be received at Crim Memorial United Methodist Church on Monday May 4, from 2-3:00 p.m. a Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Alicia Rapking officiating.
