Obituary of Olive Sapp

Olive Virginia "Jenny" Parks Sapp age 73 a resident of Rt. 2 Philippi passed away Saturday July 25, 2009 at her residence. She was born December 15, 1935 in Barbour Co. a daughter of the late Hersel Parks and Blanche (Bartlett) Peters. She was united in marriage to Philip Sapp who preceded her in death. Surviving are: Three daughters; Iva Lou Lewellen of Uniontown, PA Dessie Jenkins of Thornton, WV Delores Jenkins of Wendell, WV Four Sons; Kenneth Parks of Grafton, WV Donald Parks of Clarksburg, WV Jack F. Carper and wife Sharlot of Rt. 2 Philippi Mark Carper of Smithville, PA Two Step Sons; Roger Sapp Bob Sapp both of Smithville, PA One Sister; Betty Jenkins of Wendell , WV Two Brothers; Charlie Peters of Wendell, WV Frank Peters of PA Several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by daughter Rosemarie Parks, granddaughter Donna Marie Parks, three sisters Alice Campbell, Mary Delores Parks, Mary Peters, brother John Parks. Mrs. Sapp was a homemaker and a Pentecostal by Faith. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi, WV on Monday July 27, from 6-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday July 28, from 8:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. the service hour with Rev. Winfield Miner officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
