Obituary of James Guy Phillips

James Guy Phillips, age 75, a resident of Loudin Ln. Buckhannon passed away Monday January 15, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.  He was born October 19, 1942 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Raymond and Martha (Jones) Phillips.  James was united in marriage on January 7, 1962 to Maretta (Keene) Phillips who survives at home.  Also surviving

Son, James M. Phillips and wife Mary Jane all of Buckhannon

Adopted children, Anna Phillips of Buckhannon, Nichole Reed and husband Brad of KY, Alysha Phillips of Virginia, Jamie Phillips of Buckhannon, Joshua David Phillips of Elkins, Justin Michael Phillips of Elkins, and Larry Douglas Phillips of Fairmont

Sister, Dora Ann Plymale and husband Clyde Richard of Rockville, MD

Brothers, Raymond Dale Phillips and wife Janet of Belington, Gary Lynn Phillips of Clarksburg

Four grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and three adopted great grandchildren

James was preceded in death by brothers, Dwayne Phillips and Larry Phillips

James worked as a diesel mechanic for Baker Hughes, he enjoyed fishing and camping.

James request for cremation will be honored.
