Obituary of Eleanor R. Lach
Eleanor R. Lach, age 79, a resident of Volga, passed away Saturday May 5, 2018 at her residence. She was born August 20, 1938 in Philippi a daughter of the late Oren and Virginia (Forinash) Criss. Eleanor was united in marriage on July 13, 1963 to Walter “Poodle” Lach who preceded her in death on June 2, 2010. Surviving is

Three great granddaughters, Lillyan, Hope, and Mallory Lach
Eleanor was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Ronald, and Ralph William Criss. Eleanor was owner of Lach Grocery for over 20 years. She enjoyed listening to country music and was Methodist by faith.
Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Monday May 7, from 10 am- 2 pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm with Pastor Rod Heckert officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery.
