Michael Simpson age 56 a resident of Rocksprings Rehabilitation Center in Pomeroy, OH departed from this beautiful world on Sunday August 2, 2009 from a long term illness. He was born October 2, 1952 in Barbour Co. a son of the late Wilbur Simpson and Wyona Jeanette Pitman. Surviving is One Son: Stephen Scott Simpson Mike was owner and operator of B & M Contracting, he was an avid outdoorsmen, enjoyed fast cars and motorcycles. He was a member of the Bridgeport Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held at Sunday August 9, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home 216 N. Walnut St. Philippi. Interment will follow in the Pitman Cemetery.
