Obituary of Patricia A. Beveridge

Patricia A. Beveridge age 83, of Philippi, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at her residence.  She was born August 28, 1936 in Marion, OH the daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Conrad. 

Patricia worked at Shadow Bronze and Kinney Shoes in her earlier years.  She was an outgoing person, spending time as a volunteer with Women’s Auxiliary in Preston Co. and a Foster Grandparent in Barbour Co. Schools.  Most importantly, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. 

Surviving is- Two sons, David M. Beveridge and spouse Connie of Lenox, WV and Steven E. Beveridge and spouse Teresa of Tunnelton, WV; one daughter, Cheryl A. Alexander and spouse Shane of whom she resided with in Philippi.  Seven grandchildren- Caleb Beveridge of Tunnelton, Danielle Spriggs of Winchester, VA, Justin Beveridge of Naples, FL, Shaunda Raines of Milton, WV, Jessica DeBerry of Philippi, Courtney Stemple of Locust Grove, VA and Josh Everton of Preston Co. Thirteen great-grandchildren- Jacolyn Beveridge, Corbin Spriggs, Ruby and Reba Beveridge, Alexanderia, Addalyn and Zane Hipp, Colton DeBerry, Phoenix Raines, Madison, Nicholas and Brinkley Stemple, Felicia Albright, and Rylan Everton. Several nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Beveridge; brother, Mike Conrad and sister, Suzie Conrad. 

At her request, her body was donated to Human Gift Registry.  A Celebration of Life will be observed at Wright Funeral Home 220 N. Walnut St. Philippi on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 12-3pm the service hour with Rev. Bryan Headley officiating.
