Jane Beth Stewart, age 72, a resident of Talbot Personal Care and a former resident of Philippi, passed away January 5, 2020. Jane was born June 12, 1947 in Barbour County a daughter of the late Carl and Margaret Alice (Nestor) Lang. Jane was united in marriage to her former husband John Stewart who survives. Also surviving- Daughter, Jodie Christian and husband Mike of Charlotte, NC Son, Jeff Paugh of Philippi Sister, Peggy Lang-Sutherland and husband of Mt. Laurel, NJ Three grandchildren, Arden and Chaz Christian, Kyle Paugh Jane was preceded in death by her first husband Randell Denver Paugh. Jane retired from Barbour County Schools as a teacher. Jane was an advisor of the FBLA at the Philip Barbour Vo-Tech Center, and member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #41. She loved spending time with her family on vacations. In honor of Jane’s request cremation will be honored. Friends will be received at the Wright Funeral Home and Crematory on Saturday January 11, from 2-5 pm. A celebration of Life service will be held at 5 pm.
