Linda was my first friend - The story she told was that I was about four years old, and she could remember me walking up and down our street in Adamston banging a drum. I always liked that story. I was fortunate to see her when my husband and I visited West Virginia last summer (2019) - she was sick, but that didn’t stop her from being kind and welcoming. She was one of the most genuine people I’ve ever known. We spent our time reminiscing and laughing - we hugged and held onto each other just like we had done in childhood. There is one less light in the world, although I will always hold precious memories of my sweet friend.

My friend you will be missed so badly not only for your wonderful smile and caring heart but for your love of those around you. I was lucky enough to become your friend years ago and am blessed by all the conversations we have had. I know the past months were hard and you were tired. You've gained your wings, no more pain. We will miss you forever. So sorry Bucky, Marci, Jess and Ang. Love ya.
