Eddie Lee Brown, 77, of Philippi passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Broaddus Hospital. He was born April 29, 1943 in Harrison Co. a son of the late Meigs Edwin and Myrtle Marie (Tenney) Brown. He was united in marriage May 4, 1963 to Barbara Ellen (Beattie) Brown who preceded him in death August 27, 2018. Surviving- One daughter, Mendy Moats and husband Stephan of Arden Two sons, Lonny Brown and wife Lisa of Union Ronny Brown of Philippi Grandchildren- Stephan Moats, II and Francesca Hinchman-Moats; Dillon Moats and Alison; Ty Moats; Billy Brown and Jenna Brown Great-Grandchildren- Easton Brown, Hudson Moats, Oakleigh Rose Moats, Kale Riley and two additional great-grandbabies expected in November. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by two sisters, Sue Cane and Judy Wolfe He retired after 33 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Beckwith Equipment He was an excellent musician, loved his Bluegrass Music and enjoyed doing mechanic work Mr. Brown’s request for cremation will be honored.
