Leroy Brent Cutlip, age 73, a resident of Grafton, and a former resident of Buckhannon, died unexpectedly at his home on Saturday August 15, 2020. Leroy was born February 17, 1947 on Richwood, WV a son of the late Floyd ‘Little Peep” and Wilma “Dottie” (Arthur) Cutlip. Surviving is his loving companion of 23 years Priscila Hathaway of Grafton, and her son Jason Hathaway of Paris, France. Leroy is also survived by his sisters, Donna June Bowers of Bridgeport, Connie Rastle and husband David of Weston, Tena Shannon and husband Bill of Buckhannon, and several nieces and nephews Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Emily Sue Cutright and Joyce Cutlip Leroy was a veteran and served with the National Guard. He worked for Union Drilling and Upshur Coal. Leroy was an avid reader of Stephen King novels and enjoyed spending time with family and traveling to France. Leroy’s request for cremation will be honored and a memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
