William “Bill” Allen Knotts, Sr. age 68, a resident of Elkins, passed away November 13, 2020 in the United Hospital Center. Bill was born September 9, 1952 in Kingwood, WV a son of the late William Harrison and Martha Mary (Wilson) Knotts. Surviving are Children, Billie Jo Tenney of Belington William Allen Knotts Jr. Johnathan Matt Knotts both of Philippi Sisters, Patricia Hansen of Hickory, NC Carolyn England of Grafton Fay Grim Rebecca Knotts Tina Knotts Mary Lantz all of Philippi Brother, James Knotts of Philippi Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren Bill was preceded in death by sisters Georgia and Rosie Knotts, Brothers, Richard and Thomas Knotts Bill worked as a driver for Clarksburg Iron and Metal, and also had worked at Franklin Doors. He enjoyed collecting antique coins, listening to gospel and country music, and doing mechanic work. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday November 18, 2020 at Mary’s Chapel Cemetery at 11 am with Rev. David Brown officiating. Interment to follow.
