Nan, I missed you when you left and I miss you now. I know you are happy and doing great. I have kept my grades up and am taking care of whatever I can. I haven't really been back to Needmore to much since you have been gone. I should make a trip up to see everyone. But, to be honest I don't really want to because you're not there. I hope Heaven is everything you ever hoped or dreamed of. When you passed away, I became a secluded little hermit. I don't open up anymore or really say how I feel. I guess when you left a piece of me did, too. I'm going to take care of everything. Swear. Cross my heart. I miss you with everything I have, Nan. And love you even more.
I love you always, Maddie.

Rest In Peace Helen. We lived next door to you at Needmore in the late 40s. I babysat for you many times. What a delightful person you were. Your home was always a gathering place for local folks who wanted to get together. Mostly because of you and your hospitality. I learned so much from your husband Richard. He was a talented man and always willing to share his knowledge. My first paid auto repair job was putting a rear spring on his truck. I miss you and I have always wondered about Leona Mae and Frances. I'll see you in Heaven one day. Sonny

My Special Angel:
When Heaven sings, the angels sing bearing harps and flutes, You’ll be the angel that plays the organ complimenting the tune. You’ll be the angel with the sweetest smile always strong and bright shining down on family and friends. A reflection of God’s light. Angel there, Angel here, Angel on God’s green earth.

My Guardian Angel: Dear Angel ever at my side, how lovely you must be, to leave your home in Heaven, to guard a child like me. When I'm far away from home, or maybe hard at play, I know you will protect me, from harm along the way. You're beautiful and shining face, I see not, though you are near. The sweetness of your lovely voice, I cannot really hear. When I pray, you are praying too, Your prayers are just for me. But, when I sleep you never do, You are watching over me.
Rest in peace nan. I love you gorgeous. I am going to miss you like crazy. I could not have asked for a better grandmother than you. Thank you for believing in me and being the angel you are. I will cherish and carry the memories I had with you nan with me for the rest of my life. May you have the prettiest wings up there, because you sure do deserve them. I love you gorgeous.

Her Prayer
" Dear Lord, she's not where she is suppost to be..... she's not home. She is not with you, nor is she with me. Father is she somewhere in-between? How much longer will she be mine? When will you open the gates for her? When will her angles sing? Lord, you have blessed us enough to have given us this time with her. Now it is your turn to have her. She knows you will carry her home to she her friends and loved ones. Take care of her as I know you will. Amen.."
This was wrote in the waiting room of ICU in UHC, on 2/17/11 by Madison Carpenter. Gone, but not forgotten. I love you Big Nan.

Mommy it has been my greatest honor and pleasure to have had you as my mom. I thank God that you are no longer in pain. I know you are home, and safe from any more pain. I will love you forever. With a broken heart I have to let you go although I can't say goodbye because it's just too hard, so I'll see you again. Today, I played back all your messages on my phone that I have saved every time you called me. On one message you said "Carol, Im home and Im doing alright." I know you are alright. I love you mommy, and I always will and I miss you so much already. It will be alright, but it will take a long time. I love you my dearest mommy, Carol.

To the Jones Family,
It was an honor to have known "Miss Helen." I really enjoyed our conversations over the past few months and was amazed about how deeply she loved her family and especially her LORD! Your family will remain in my daily prayers during this difficult time and always remember that our loss is heaven's gain! God Bless. Rob
